Isca Funerals
This afternoon we said goodbye to Michelle, a strong, loving, amazing woman who couldn’t have been more loved. Michelles journey began from her home address, with her family and friends in convoyWe reached the beautiful grounds of East Devon Crematorium where Julie of Aurora Ceremonies led our service, there was not a dry eye in the chapel. We heard all about Michelle’s life, her ups, her downs and her love for Olly Murs! We heard from her brother and her son, and we reflected over her life whilst listening to Robbie Williams, another love of Michelle’s.It was a beautiful service, with lots of giggles, which we know she would have loved. The floral tributes were put together by Alice at From The Wild Michelle, may you be free of pain, and may you rest in peace. 🌸 ... See MoreSee Less

Isca Funerals
This afternoon we bid Royston Hopkins a fond farewell, and laid him to rest with nature, where he always loved to be. Our service today was held at St Andrew’s Church, Ipplepen and lead by Rev Andrew Down.A beautiful service full of music, the Pushbike Song and Bicycle Race, two very fitting songs! The singing of hymns and the sharing of memories of Roy and his love of cycling, prayers for Roy and prayers for his loving family and friends. Following the church service, Roy was laid to rest in the church yard, his family lowered him gently into the ground, a final act for their loved one before covering his coffin with roses. Roy, your life was so full, you were referred to as iron man, you had many achievements in life but what was so prominent today was the love you felt for your family and the love they have for you! Rest easy now Roy, you’ll be forever missed. 🚴Bicycle flowers were created by Alice from From The Wild! 💕 ... See MoreSee Less

This morning we took Anthony Strong on his final journey. Although Tony wanted a direct cremation with no fuss, his family wanted to recognise his service in the Navy too and we felt this was appropriate. We arranged to borrow a White Ensign flag, ensured we had his cap and medals and took Tony to Exeter Crematorium to meet with his family once more. His family said their goodbyes and watched as we took Tony to the catafalque whilst listening to Sailing. ⚓️Rest easy now Tony. ... See MoreSee Less

Today we said farewell to Geoffrey, a man who loved his family, made his own fun, and preferred nature and the old school things! A man who his best friend described as analogue.Geoffs family came together at Exeter Crematorium to say their farewells. With Tina Naldrett of Camomile Ceremonies leading our service today, we heard all about Geoffs life, his family, his woodwork skills and his love for fishing, shown on his Dad flowers! We came together to say the Lord’s Prayer and sang Morning Has Broken, before we said goodbye to Geoff. Geoffs beautiful tied bouquet was created by Alice at From The Wild. Time to rest now Geoff. You’ll be sadly missed but never forgotten. 🎣 ... See MoreSee Less
